For those of you that missed my first episode, I am a working mother that is doing everything she can to make a new life for her and her family. I started doing many things at one time to spring myself forward on this path and to get to my goals quicker.
I created this podcast to go through many different things: Parenting struggles, tips about creating new income outlets while wrangling little ones and remind all the parents out there... that they are not alone.
There will be weeks with guests, where I will be speaking with other mothers & fathers who are trying to raise well-mannered children, work, go to school and everything else.
Eventually I will bring my children in on the fun to go over what they think good parenting consists of and what they would like to see more of from us. Because who better to learn from than the people we’re trying to mold and create, right?
I’m sure you’ve figured out by now that I’m in no way an expert. Although I am on the path to obtaining my PHD, I don't have it yet and won't pretend that I do.
I am, however, a mother of 5 biological children and 2 bonus children. One who lives in Kentucky with her mother, two who have been called to heaven and 4 who reside in our home.
I juggle a full-time job, a self-created and maintained blog, a parenting blog run off of the medium platform, a self-employment blog on Substack and this podcast. Not to mention my college classes at the University of Phoenix.
I'm no stranger to anxiety stress and struggle. I know what it's like to have more money than you know what to do with and what it's like to be homeless.
I'm not perfect, I'm human.
This world is full of negativity. I want to do my best to shed some positive light on the world of parenthood!
so, now that little bit of information is out of the way....
